Exeter (c-enen-uk-Exeter is a historic city in Devon, England. It lies within the ceremonial county of Devon, of which it is the county town as well as the home of the county council. Currently the administrative area has the status of a non-metropolitan district, and is therefore under the administration of the County Council. The city is on the River Exe, about 37 mi (59.5 km) northeast of Plymouth, and 70 mi (112.7 km) southwest of Bristol. According to the 2001 Census, its population in that year was 111,076, while the mid-2009 estimate was 118,800.Exeter was the most south-westerly Roman fortified settlement in Britain. Its Exeter Cathedral, founded in the early 12th century, became Anglican at the time of the 16th century Reformation.

Exeter has been identified as one of the top ten most profitable locations for a business to be based. The city has good transport links, with Exeter St David's railway station, Exeter Central railway station, the M5 motorway and Exeter International Airport connecting the city both nationally and internationally. Although a popular tourist destination, the city is not dominated by tourism.

Album: Phantasmagore One of the things they wanted was to deconstruct a band favorite in their cover song, Elijah said(Mitch Schneider Organization Article.)"We like the idea of spinning some musical heritage into a modern record and making it sound like it belongs there," Blue confides. "I welcome that challenge." Still, he jokes, "We included more Indian instruments on there than Brian Jones did -- that's live harmonium, tambour and sarongi." A display of true unusual dedication in today's music world, this band took the unprecedented step of actually making personal phone calls to their fans termed "Legions," during their Tour. In addition to meeting countless fans and loyal supporters for hours for autographs, poster and CD signings, and posing for photos. The lead singer and lead guitarist is Elijah Blue Allman, stage name P. Exeter Blue I, for the rock band Deadsy which consists of Alec Pure on drums, Dr. Nner on synthesizer, Carlton Megalodon on Z-tar, and Jens Funke on bass. Elijah, who recently embarked on a promising solo career, is deserving of much praise for being born to celebrities CHER and Gregg Allman but not letting that status keep him from being considerate, responsible, personable, and conscientious. He has overcome many obstacles, including people who credited his success merely due to his background, creating this band on his own, with a very determined, unselfish work ethic and spirit. Before his band DEADSY was born, I saw him, at age 14, play ...

Ok, it's not quite as freak as the "landing gear and bleaching agents" scenario, but whilst showing a mate how to use his new camcorder at Exeter College, Carl decided to wreck his head on a wooden door frame. Here is a picture a week later of the scar www.facebook.com

See my collection of metal detector finds, all found in the Exmouth and Exeter area of Devon. The detector used was a Minleab Explorer SE. I recorded this video (on the spur of the moment, in one take, with no practise and no script) to give me a way to show my collection to the passers-by on Exmouth Beach who often ask what I'm looking for. If you enjoyed this one, please browse at my other videos to see my even more impressive year 2 finds and the recording of a beach detecting session during which I find a stunning diamond ring (not featured on this video). I am always on the look out for new land to search, so please contact me if you are an interested local landowner. You will probably be very surprised at what turns up. All finds are shared 50/50 with land-owners. Thanks for watching! Gary
