This bike trailer was engineered and built for $1000 and is one of two. They were made to tour the Gibb River Road in North West Western Australia. I bought mine second hand from the couple and it was still in perfect condition even though the Gibb River Road is renown for being one of the roughest in Australia; most (non-4WD) cars would be shattered to pieces by the corrugations. I've put it up here to share the basic design - feel free to copy it or be inspired to make something entirely different.

Australian police believe that a body washed ashore in western Australia yesterday is that of missing German backpacker Jan-Christian Bielenberg. Two horseback riders found the body of a man on a beach in Capel Wednesday morning. The beach is about 15 miles from Bunbury, the place where Bielenberg was last seen on July 30. Australian police say that initial observations did not indicate foul play, or that Bielenberg had committed suicide.
