Townsville Queensland Video

Some views and random footage by my family of a typical Sunday afternoon and early evening at The Rockpool on the Strand in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia. The camera was just handed around to get as much random stuff to slam together as possible. (A requested, I showed more people and I showed more skin so both those into girls AND guys should be happy now.)

www.reefari.com Cyclone Yasi is coming to North Queensland with a rating of 3 at present but building into a Category 4, she's one massive system some 700 kilometres across, now that's massive, so decided to do a running report on it's effect on Mackay, we're on the outer edge of it, and hopefully should come out OK, but Cairns is right in it's path, and that's where I'd rather not be. Fingers crossed for Cairns and all other northern towns and cities. Looks like will cross Wednesday night which is good news at it's co-incides with the smallest of the high tides. Plus add in the storm surge of an expected 1 metre will result in more flooding. Please see reports below and helpful information if you're affected. The web is great and check BOM (bureau of Meterology) websites with all the latest forecasts, will Update again with further video on Mackay, Please subscribe for more great fishing tips, and Cyclone Yasi updates Cheers Greg Check out our website for more great fishing charters from Mackay at www.reefari.com North Queensland from Mackay to Cape York, is facing a 'potentially very deadly event', according to Premier Anna Bligh, but emergency services say they are ready for Cyclone Yasi. Forecasters say communities between Cooktown and Townsville are most at risk of a direct hit from Yasi, expected to cross the coast very late on Wednesday as a severe category four system with winds gusting above 250km/h. Anna Bligh met with the state disaster management group, where ...

BETTER QUALITY (still not good) Townsville, tropical north Queensland. The largest Australian city north of Brisbaine. In November 2006, this vibrant outpost played host to The Almost Amazing Race. Six teams each made up of two people raced from destination to destination, never knowing where they would go next or what tasks they would be performing along the way. Watch their adventure now! Please be aware that for some reason the last 30 seconds didn't get built into the final movie file. What you missed was: -Tom & Louie arriving at the gardens in 5th place -A message saying that Kim was right, as a consequence of the cameraman accident I wasn't able to get the rest of the leg set up in time, and so the teams had a break in the gardens -Footage of teams enjoying the rest This is only the first part, I'm just experimenting with getting YouTube working. The rest will be up in a month or so. The quality is pretty dodgy at the moment, I'm working on that. Enjoy
