Suffolk (c-eniconˈsʌfək) is a non-metropolitan county of historic origin in East Anglia, England. It has borders with Norfolk to the north, Cambridgeshire to the west and Essex to the south. The North Sea lies to the east. The county town is Ipswich; other important towns include Lowestoft, Bury St Edmunds and Felixstowe, one of the largest container ports in Europe.

The county is low-lying with very few hills, and is largely arable land with the wetlands of The Broads in the North. The Suffolk Coast and Heaths are an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

3.53 min. | 4.94 user rating		 I need opinions on what to do about my pointe shoes. I just bought a new pair of pointes (Suffolk Solo's). I have a problem with my feet being different sizes. My right foot is long & narrow, but my left foot is small & wide (about a half sz. difference). Therefore I have trouble finding the best fit for both feet. I bought the thicker pads for my left foot so that the shoe would fit better, but I think it's creating problems by making my left foot "fall in" towards my right foot (My foot bones may be twisting, but I'm not sure). When I wear the thinner pads it's not as bad, but there's lots of space in the shoe. I'm debating whether or not I should do custom shoes for a more precise fit, or just buy two pairs? (I have my old shoes on in the beginning for a comparison) Opinions or suggestions? (I have not sewn the elastics & ribbons on yet. I'm waiting to do that until I've made up my mind...)
3.42 min. | 4.62 user rating		 I decided to try and make a silencer for the suffolk 75G14 mower engine out of nothing more than bits and pieces I could find in the house and the shed. So, it simply consists of a soup tin, about 1" of metal tube and a bit of rubber hose pipe. Half open one end of the can to empty it, then solder it shut again. Make a hole of the exhaust to enter the tin and solder the pipe over, a blow torch will be great here. Push the hose pipe into the metal tube, drill small holes in the can and plug the rubber pipe into the end of the silencer. Result....an engine where the valves make more noise than the exhaust. I should say that this engine is very, very worn so smokes a bit normaly, but the tin seems to cause the smoke to build up, it's possib;ea bit of water in the can also helped add to it, so it's really not this bad normaly!
