Woodbridge is a town in Suffolk, East Anglia, England. It is in the East of England, not far from the coast. It lies along the River Deben, with a population of about 7,480. The town is served by Woodbridge railway station on the Ipswich-Lowestoft East Suffolk Line. Woodbridge is twinned with Mussidan in France. Woodbridge incorporates probably the most important Anglo-Saxon site in the United Kingdom - the Sutton Hoo Saxon royal burial ship. With 1400 years of recorded history, the town has retained an interesting variety of historical architecture, making it an interesting town just to walk around; there is also the River Deben, for boating and riverside walks. It was voted by Country Living in April 2010 as one of only six top Foodie Town's in the UK

PLEASE NOTE ... A higher quality version of this video has now been uploaded to take full advantage of the new YouTube playback dimensions. Please go to my channel to find the link. Scenes along the river at Woodbridge, Suffolk ... just made as an experiment to see what can be done with the Lumix FZ18 and Final Cut Express software. Made I now realise with the mistake of using Pal settings rather than NTSC ( ie 24fps rather than 30fps) which explains some of the jerky footage.

This is a video of various venues where I have played. The background musicconsists of me playing "Teach Me Tonight". I first heard this on an old Erroll Garner record and I haved loved the song ever since. The slide show features Gosfield Hall in Essex; Bertie's in Elland, West Yorkshire; The Golden Hind (Drake's ship), London; and Butley Priory, nr Woodbridge, Suffolk. The music to 'Teach Me Tonight' was written by Gene De Paul and the lyrics by Sammy Cahn and was published in 1953. Since then it has been sung by a great variety of singers from Frank Sinatra to Amy Winehouse. Please make a comment and rate my video of 'Teach Me Tonight'. Also, please subscribe to my channel. I am available as a jazz pianist for any wedding, corporate event or party in London, Essex, Sussex, Kent, Hertfordshire, Hampshire, Berkshire or any other area of the UK. Watch in High Quality Another great moment as I saw Britannia Pacific Class, 70013 'Oliver Cromwell' arrive and depart Woodbridge Station on the 1Z70, on the East Suffolk Line. The tour was 'The Easterling', thanks to the Railway Touring Company for this great tour and the driver for those great whistles on arriving and departing.
