Saint Peter and Paul Church, Yerevan Video

This video uncovers the shocking scandal concerning the Catholic Reverend Alex Brown of St Peter and St Paul church in St Leonard's on Sea, who carried out sham marriages for foreign males entering the UK from Nigeria and other countries in Africa, Eastern Europe and elsewhere. This video tries to bring some humour into the story, but it's no laughing matter. Reverend Alex Brown was convicted of running an illegal immigration scam. Since the reverend appears to have not made any money out of this, we can only assume he was either intimidated into it by a criminal gang, or did it to undermine the UK. There's no doubt he knew the marriages were not genuine and were being used as a way to legalise illegal immigrants status and give them permanent residence here. He is believed to have carried out hundreds of these marriages and this has serious implications for not only for national security, but also for our economy as once "legal" residents of the UK, these people will be no doubt go on to apply for council houses and state welfare. This case is not an isolated incident, illegal immigrant sham marriages happen every day and all over the country, particularly with new relaxed laws on civil marriages. Criminal gangs are exploiting this and arranging the marriages, and even jobs and accommodation for the illegals and raking in millions of pounds in proceeds. This video shows us clearly again how too trusting and lapse Britain's Border Control really is. How can anyone who ...

A short tourism video about Coleshill in Warwickshire. Lying on two rivers and surrounded by countryside, Coleshill still retains its original character in a steep main street featuring splendid Georgian architecture. Once an important staging post on the ancient Roman trading route of London to Chester, the town has many historic coaching inns dotted throughout. The Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul is decorated in the style of the 14th and 15th centuries. And On Church Hill you can still see the town stocks, which are unique to Warwickshire as they combine a pillory and whipping post. They now stand outside the recently refurbished Old Market Hall which houses an exhibition of Coleshill past and present. See www.warwickshire.gov.uk for more details.

from 1731 to 1858 the SS Peter and Paul Cathedral was the city's main church and in 1858 it became the court cathedral. It was here that the regal founder of St Petersburg, Peter the Great, who died in 1725, was interred. He was buried in the ruling dynasty in churches, widespread throughout the world, was followed in St Petersburg, too.

What did I do this Good Friday? If many of us would have gone to work or school that day, I took advantage of that holiday, being spring break, to visit seven (yes, seven) churches around San Francisco. Here's the list of the churches I visited, in order: (you may also follow them by the annotations provided) - St. Patrick's Church - Mission Dolores - St. Dominic's Church - Holy Virgin Cathedral (Orthodox) - Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption - Old St. Mary's Cathedral - Saints Peter and Paul Church Another video recorded by FlipShare.
