Etchmiadzin Cathedral Video

I came across these songs by Komitas Vardapet while visiting the Etchmiadzin Cathedral in Armenia some years back and decided to transcribe them for carillon. The first of these pieces works so well on the carillon, I actually prefer it to the original piano composition. Marked semplice, this first song is a world unto iself, unfolding and elaborating upon the partials of the long sustained peals of the pedals, first A, and then G.
