The Dominican Republic national football team is the national team of Dominican Republic and is controlled by the Federación Dominicana de Fútbol. Football is not the most popular sport in the country, losing out to baseball by a large margin. Lack of a football culture, especially when compared to the national sport of baseball, and frequent exclusion from most regional competitions has made the Dominican Republic national football team one of the weakest in CONCACAF.
