In the name of restoration, the Maharashtra Government has poured cement over 400-year-old monuments, leaving conservationists up in arms. At Mumbai's Sewri fort, when one steps in, it's like entering into a 17th century bastion and time of Portuguese rule. But as soon as you step out, freshly plastered cement covers this fort.
