Robert Dunkerson Orr (November 17, 1917 - March 10, 2004) was an American political leader and the 45th Governor of Indiana from 1981 to 1989. He was a member of the Republican Party.

Our intent was to undertake a film project of substance that would be fun to do and to honor this wonderful yet largely unknown film. Adapted from the novel of the same name written by George V. Higgins, "The Friends of Eddie Coyle" is a low-brow, down and dirty look at Boston's blue-collar underworld in the 1970s that is small on action but very rich on dialogue and narrative plot. Shot on location at the world famous Shanty Cafe in Seattle, this scene, the film's opening conversation, stars D'Angelo Midili, JP Giuliotti and features Shyn Midili, "Jersey Dave" Miller, Tim "The Prophet" Malloy, Edward T. Martin and the lovely Jade Lin. Directed by Andrew Birchall and photographed by William Brody. Original music score by Daniel J. DiIulio. Other cast and crew: Shyn Midili, Tom McIntire, Jade Lin, Adam Powers, Dale Smith, Colin Kelley. Special thanks to Ryan Purcell, Ben Andrews and Robert Curtis. The original film, released by Paramount Pictures, is now available on DVD from the prestigious Criterion Collection. Comments (constructive) are welcome. Enjoy!

Here is the trailer for two re-produced scenes from 1973's crime drama: "The Friends of Eddie Coyle" (the original film produced by Paramount Pictures and now available from the Criterion DVD collection). We are posting two scenes from this tribute project on Saturday, March 13, 2010. The first scene shot is the film's opening conversation between Eddie and Jackie Brown and the second scene brings us into a diner with Eddie and Dave Foley. This project was produced and shot in Seattle, WA at the famous Shanty Cafe at 350 Elliot Ave. W. Both pieces were directed by Andrew Birchall and shot by Director of Photography, William Brody. Starring: Eric Riedmann, DAngelo Midili and JP Giuliotti. We did this for fun and as a tribute to this great, classic film directed by Peter Yates and starring Robert Mitchum. Comments are welcome!
