Aalborg University is located in Aalborg, Denmark. With its opening in 1974 it became the fifth university in Denmark. In 1995 Esbjerg Engineering College was integrated in the university followed by the creation of the School of Architecture & Design in 1996, the inauguration of the Copenhagen Campus in 2003 (Copenhagen Institute of Technology), the founding of the School of Medicine in 2006, and the integration of the National Building Research Institute in 2007.

The glue, that is made for gluing the sheets together, is made from cornflour and does not affect the recycling process. The cardboard might seem fragile but can carry an enormous amount of kilos because of the folded structure. If the cardboard gets wet, you can just dry it with a piece of clothes but don't bring ecochair the beach...

The Ticket Machine is a 3d animated short film - a product of 5th semester at the medialogy programme at Aalborg University Esbjerg, Denmark. The aim of the project was to create a nice 3d movie with a good story. We are quite happy with the result, expecially when considering the short time schedule and the fact that most of us have never modelled or animated much 3d before. The unit controlling the LEGO motors and sensors is a Java Optimized Processor(JOP) mounted on a LRBJOP board ( www.jopdesign.com http ). JOP executes Java Bytecode with precise timing constraints for each instruction, enabling execution time and scheduling verification.
