Puzhuthivakkam ( ) , commonly known as Ullagaram-Puzhuthivakkam ( ) is one of the southern suburbs of Chennai. Though near Chennai, it is a town in Kancheepuram district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.It neighbours the suburbs of Madipakkam, Adambakkam, Velachery, Pallikaranai and Nanganallur. This suburb of Chennai started to grow in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Some of the important landmarks of Puzhuthivakkam/Ullagaram are Medavakkam main road, Kumaran Theatre, Drowpathi Amman Kovil and Oil mills bus stop.

There are numerous schools in this area. Some of them are Vyasa Vidhyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, New Prince, Prince matriculation and Karpaga Vigneshwara.

This area is under a slow paced development since the 1970s, and most areas in this suburb often suffer from bad roads, water, sewage, garbage dumping, spoiling of the Pallikaranai marshlands and electricity problems, which are often neglected by the local politicians.

The Puzhuthivakkam administration comes under the Ullagaram-Puzhuthivakkam municipality.
