Marion County is a county located in the U.S. state of Indiana. Census 2010 recorded a population of 903,393 making it the largest county in the state and 55th most populated county in the country, greater than the population of six states. The county seat is Indianapolis, the state capital and largest city. Marion County is sometimes considered coterminous with Indianapolis proper.

Note: this siren has been taken down in conjunction with the upgrade of all of the sirens in Marion County. The only siren's in the county now are various 2001 models.

6.08 min. | 5.0 user rating		 I was staying with my aunt Brenda in Beech Grove,and the sirens went off.The Thunderbolt Sirens in Indianapolis got replaced.There were 4 of them,and 2 out of 4 sirens worked.The Thunderbolts have been gone ever since July,or August of 2009.Now every siren in Marion County are Previous 2001 Models.Marion County does a siren test every Friday at 11A.MI know that one of the Thunderbolts was on top of a building in IUPUI Campus.Somebody told me that whenever they were in the building that had the Thunderbolt Siren on top of it thought it was a loud car.When my Cousin,and I stayed with aunt Brenda in the summer of 09 I told my Cousin that they were going to do an outdoor warning test on Friday at 11,and he freaked out he thought something was going to pop up on the tv,and I told him that it was just Tornado Sirens.
