Mirick worked in a number of radio stations in Oklahoma City. Everywhere she worked, she became popular with the listeners due to her personality and hosting skills. However there was a dark side to her life, drugs and alcohol addiction. The family is heart broken at her demise and her father said in his statement, that his daughter went to sleep only to succumb to death. The other members of her family have also expressed their grief saying that they are sorry for loosing her forever. They also said that her tragic death will serve as a lesson for those who have given in to drug addiction and alcohol consumption.
