Erie (c-eniconˈɪəri) is a city located in northwestern Pennsylvania in the United States. Named for the lake and the Native American tribe that resided along its southern shore, Erie is the state's fourth-largest city (after Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Allentown), with a population of 102,000. Erie's Metropolitan Area consists of approximately 280,000 residents and an Urbanized Area population of approximately 195,000. The city is the seat of government for Erie County.

Erie is near Cleveland, Ohio; Buffalo, New York; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Once teeming with heavy industry, Erie's manufacturing sector remains prominent in the local economy, though healthcare, higher education, and tourism are emerging as greater economic drivers. Millions visit Erie for water recreation at Presque Isle State Park, as well as attractions like a casino and horse racetrack named for the state park.

Erie is known as the Flagship City because of the presence of Oliver Hazard Perry's flagship Niagara. The city has also been called the Gem City because of the "sparkling" lake. Erie won the All-America City Award in 1972.

In the fall of 2006, Iroquois High School in Erie, Pennsylvania started a campaign called "Bald is Beautiful." The concept was simple: for every $5000 the students and community raised to help out Victoria Boriety, a 7th grader suffering from leukemia, one of the teachers would get their heads shaved. The bar was set at $5000 for the first, Mrs. Boblentz, the 10th grade English teacher, $10000 for either Mr. Gallagher, a History teacher, or Mr. Bowen, an art teacher, $15000 for Mr. Uplinger, the principal, and $20000 for Mrs. Cabaday, a Guidance councilor aide who promised to get a liberty spiked mohawk if the $20000 goal was reached. In mid-February of 2007, the first shaving took place and Victoria was presented with the first installment of money from the campaign. As of mid-March, the campaign had raised over $8000 to help Victoria and her family's battle with leukemia. If you would like to help Victoria out with her struggle, make checks payable to Iroquois High School Student Council: Iroquois High School 4301 Main Street Erie, PA 16511 Or call for more information: (814) 899-7643 extension 1157 Remeber: Bald really IS beautiful. Spread the Love.

Plenty of switching action seen in video and also included are some in cab shots. Enjoy! **Note** All video was filmed after recieving permission from railroad personnel to enter property and take pictures. Thanks for watching!
