The Hamilton Bulldogs are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League. They play in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, at Copps Coliseum, nicknamed 'The Dog Pound'. They are the AHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens. The team has won the Calder Cup once in their history, in 2007.

Daugavins put the tip of his blade on the top of the puck at center ice and started skated into the offensive zone, before performing a 360 spin-o-rama to beat Bulldogs goalie Robert Mayer.

PORTLAND, Maine After an 18-12 win in Mondays Skills Competition, the Canadian AHL All-Stars completed a sweep of the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic tonight with a come-from-behind 10-9 shootout win over PlanetUSA in the 2010 AHL All-Star Game at the Cumberland County Civic Center. Rookie Tyler Ennis of the hometown Portland Pirates was selected the games most valuable player, notching a goal and two assists for the Canadians. The Canadians were down by four goals when the Worcester Sharks Logan Couture began the comeback at 7:48 of the third period. The Binghamton Senators Ryan Keller collected his second goal of the night at 12:30 and Dustin Jeffrey of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins cut the deficit to 9-8 at the 14:41 mark. Then, with their goaltender pulled for an extra attacker, the Canadian squad evened the score when reigning league MVP Alexandre Giroux of the Hershey Bears banged home a shot with 18.0 seconds remaining. Couture and Hamilton Bulldogs rookie PK Subban scored in the shootout while Hamiltons Cedrick Desjardins stopped four of five PlanetUSA attempts to seal the win, establishing the largest third-period comeback in AHL All-Star Game history. Pernell Karl "PK" Subban (born May 13, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman currently playing for the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League. Subban was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round, 43rd overall, of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. He is a two-time gold medal winner with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships. Playing career Subban began his OHL career with Belleville Bulls in 200506, recording 12 points in a 52-game rookie campaign. The following season, his NHL draft year, in 200607, he improved to 56 points in 68 games. In the off-season, he was drafted 43rd overall, in the second round, by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Subban recorded a 46-point campaign in 200708, before adding 23 points and matching his regular season goals total of 8 in the post-season. He helped Belleville to the J. Ross Robertson Cup Finals against the Kitchener Rangers, where they lost the OHL title in seven games. Following a junior career high 76 points in 200809, Subban was signed to a three-year, entry-level contract by the Canadiens.[1] Subban was assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs of the AHL to begin the 200910 season.
