The Bridgeport Sound Tigers are an ice hockey team playing in the American Hockey League. It has been the AHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders since its inception, and use the same team colors as the parent Islanders do. The team is based in Bridgeport, Connecticut and play their home games at the Webster Bank Arena. The "Sound" in the team name is a reference to the Long Island Sound to the south of Bridgeport.

A commercial for the City of Bridgeport. Created by Turbine Advertising turbineboost.com in CT - in a collaboration with Mayor Bill Finch's office and the Bridgeport Regional Business Council (BRBC). Yes, Bridgeport has its challenges. But there are so many surprisingly great things to do in Bridgeport - events at Harbor Yard , restaurants, bars, beaches, the Beardsley Zoo, The Bluefish, the Sound Tigers special events like Gathering of the Vibes, the list goes on and on. This spot was created to point out the fact that the average person is not aware of all the positives Bridgeport has to offer. UDirect was the Production Company. Voice Over Dave Pettitt.

Follow my YouTube video updates on Twitter. twitter.com On Saturday night in Springfield, former New York Rangers tough guy and current Columbus Blue Jackets property Dane Byers of the Falcons fought Micheal Haley of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. What happened next is an early contender for "best dude goes crazy in the AHL highlight" honors this season, as Byers excuses himself from the penalty box, throws sticks and generally acts like a loon. Thanks to PD for the story.

the Wolf Pack ended three weeks of frustration, non-production and a record run of losses, as Norwegian import Mats Zuccarello scored his first hat trick in North America before the game was 26 minutes old in a 7-1 victory over the Bridgeport Sound Tigers before 2022 Sunday night. "It was a nice win because the longer and longer (the losing streak) goes it kind of takes on a story of its own and become a monster in itself," Wolf Pack coach Ken Gernander said. The seven goals were the most goals the Wolf Pack (4-8-2-1) scored this season, as they ended a nine-game winless streak (0-7-2-0), longest in the franchise's 14-year history. They had scored only 10 goals since their previous victory, 3-0 at Providence on Oct. 17, and were 0-5-2-0 at home since a season-opening, 4-2 victory over the Charlotte Checkers on Oct. 9.
