Lewis Brian Hopkins Jones (28 February 1942 3 July 1969), known as Brian Jones, was an English musician and a founding member of The Rolling Stones. His main instruments were the guitar and the harmonica, but he played a wide variety of other instruments. His innovative use of traditional or folk instruments, such as the sitar and marimba, was integral to the changing sound of the band. He was originally the leader of the group, but Mick Jagger and Keith Richards soon overshadowed him, especially after they became a successful songwriting team. Jones developed a serious substance abuse problem over the years and his role in the band steadily diminished. He left the Rolling Stones in June 1969 to be replaced by guitarist Mick Taylor; Jones died less than a month later in his own swimming pool.

Life of Brian (1979) Trailer Directed by Terry Jones Written by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin Brian is born in a stable on Christmas, right next to You Know Who. The wise men appear and begin to distribute gifts. The star moves further, so they take it all back and move on. This is how Brian's life goes. The Jews are looking for a release from the Romans, Spiritual and political decay, keep looking for signs and a group decides Brian is the Messiah. He cannot convince them he is not. He joins the Peoples' Front of Judea, one of several dozen separatist groups who actually do nothing, but really hate the Romans. While not about Jesus, it is about those who hadn't time, or interest to listen to his message. Many Political and Social comments. akas.imdb.com

The man who's considered to be the Rolling stones genesis visionary, the man who's considered to be the soul of the mega band while Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are the mind and body, the 27 club member and legend Brian Jones. This short video is focusing on this wonderful musician who navigated the bands direction on its first massive footstep into the hall of fame. From the big break at 1963, to the starting of his personal descend, fatherhood over 5 children from 5 different women, the drug possessing arrest and the 1969 announcement of leaving the band and him found dead at the bottom of his swimming pool at the tragic rock symbol age 27.
