'Sticky Fingers' is the ninth British and eleventh American studio album by English rock band The Rolling Stones, released in April 1971. It is the band's first album of the 1970s and its first release on the band's newly-formed label, Rolling Stones Records, after having been contracted since 1963 with Decca Records in the UK and London Records in the US. It is also Mick Taylor's first full-length appearance on a Rolling Stones album, and the first not to feature any contributions from founding guitarist Brian Jones. In 2003, Sticky Fingers was listed as number 63 on Rolling Stone magazine's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

A shivering and brilliant song by the Stones, taken off their classic album "Sticky Fingers" released in March 1971, the band's first album on their own label, featured an elaborate cover design by Andy Warhol. The album contains one of their best known hits, "Brown Sugar", and the country-influenced "Wild Horses". Both were recorded at Alabama's Muscle Shoals Sound Studio during the 1969 American tour. The album continued the band's immersion into heavily blues-influenced compositions. The album is noted for its "loose, ramshackle ambience" and marked Mick Taylor's first full release with the band. I used some older Stones photos with Brian Jones on purpose ....

"Can't You Hear Me Knocking" is a song by British rock and roll band The Rolling Stones from their 1971 album Sticky Fingers. From the "Blow" Soundtrack The song begins with a signature Keith Richards open-G tuned guitar intro. At two minutes and forty-three seconds, an instrumental break begins, with Rocky Dijon on congas; saxophonist Bobby Keys performs an extended saxophone solo over the layered guitar work of Richards and Taylor. Taylor then takes over from Keys and carries the song to its finish with a lengthy guitar solo. The number was part of the Rolling Stones' concert repertoire during their Licks Tour in 2002--2003 and A Bigger Bang Tour in 2005--2007; in these renditions, Jagger played a harmonica solo after Keys' sax solo, and Ronnie Wood performed the extended guitar solo. A live recording was released on the band's 2003 DVD set Four Flicks and on the 2004 concert album Live Licks. A shortened cover version of the studio track (without the saxophone solo) is featured in Guitar Hero II. The number has also been featured in the soundtracks of the films Blow and Casino. Rapper Juelz Santana sampled the track on his song "Blow" from Back Like Cooked Crack Volume One. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine listed it at #25 on its list of "The 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time."

From the 1971 album Sticky Fingers. Argueably the Stones best album. Mick Taylor did the solo on this. Country isn't what comes to mind when one thinks of the Stones but they proved the could twang with the best of them. Its a pretty good song if youre a new guitar player starting to venture into soloing (like me haha) but anyway, its all pretty much in the box formation of the minor pentatonic scale in the key of B. Peace and thanks for watching:)~
