The Missouri Tigers athletics programs include the extramural and intramural sports teams of the University of Missouri, located in Columbia, Missouri, United States. The name comes from a band of armed guards called the Missouri Tigers who, in 1864, protected Columbia from Confederate guerrillas during the Civil War.

The University of Missouri (often referred to as Mizzou or MU) is the flagship institution of the University of Missouri System. The women's teams are sometimes called the Lady Tigers, but often both the men's and women's teams are simply called the Tigers. Mizzou is a member of the Big 12 Conference and is the only NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision program in Missouri.

Well, I had enough and so here is your chance to sing along. I had made a lot of tweaking to make this clip since the computer has a mind of its own. I have heard from a few commenters that "Every True Son" was derived from the First World War song, "It's a Long Way to Tipperary," and they are right; it is just that the band added nutmeg and vanilla to make the coffee taste better. :) "Fight Tigers!" has a small chant in between that you can do, and it was difficult to do, but worth doing!
