Melbourne Heart FC is a professional football (soccer) club based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, which is the 11th official franchise in the A-League, and the 12th to have played in the league. The club was formed in 2008, and was awarded an A-League licence in 2009 to compete in the 2010-2011 season of the A-League. The club plays its home matches at AAMI Park.
