John Michael McHugh (born September 29, 1948) is the 21st United States Secretary of the Army and a former Republican politician from the state of New York, formerly representing the state's 23rd congressional district in the United States House of Representatives.

On June 2, 2009, President Barack Obama nominated him to the position of United States Secretary of the Army. The United States Senate confirmed McHugh in a voice vote on September 16, 2009. He was sworn in as the 21st Secretary of the Army at a Pentagon ceremony on September 21, 2009.

For one, by this time the musical electronics were far superior than 20 years earlier. And, also by this time Shirley's voice had fully matured into the powerful vocal instrument she is so well known for. With that said, It is always risky for a vocalist to record songs which are considered old and thus may not suit the younger listeners who tend to buy most of the records. It takes someone with a huge clout in the music industry to withstand any potential lackluster record sales along with a record label that is also willing to take the chance to produce such a record. By the late 1970's Shirley had already been in the business 25 years and had sold over 70 million records and so she was one of a very few who could afford to take the potential hit. From the very beginning Shirley was eager to re-record many of these classics and in my opinion the passion she has for these timeless songs shines through on every track. Frankly <b>...</b>
