Eduardo Alves da Silva (born 25 February 1983), commonly known as Eduardo, sometimes nicknamed as Dudu, is a Brazilian-born Croatian footballer who currently plays for Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar Donetsk and the Croatia national team.

06/11/2010 scoring the winner against his old club Arsenal on Wednesday night in the Champions League, Eduardo netted a brilliant strike in Shakhtar Donetsk's league match at Kryvbas today. The Cro-Zilian has now scored five goals in 14 appearances for Shakhtar and his move from Arsene Wenger's Arsenal appears to be paying off. Eduardo is playing more regularly and beginning to find the form that made his name when he was at Dinamo Zagreb. Today's excellent goal (reminiscent of Zinedine Zidane's in the 2002 Champions League final) saw Eduardo give Shakhtar the lead at Kryvbas on the stroke of half-time with an impressive volley with his right foot.
