The Israel national football team ( , Nivkheret Yisra'el BeKaduregel) is the national football team of Israel, controlled by the Israel Football Association (IFA).

Israel National Football is the direct successor of the Eretz Yisrael National Team during British Mandate. Israel has competed in FIFA World Cup qualifiers in three different confederations, competing in the Asian Football Confederation and the Oceania Football Confederation before settling in Europe as a member of the Union of European Football Associations in 1994.

The Israeli side qualified for their only FIFA World Cup to date in 1970. Israel also hosted and won the Asian Cup in 1964 and was finalist in 1956 and 1960.

The Israeli Football Association announces that Eli Guttman is the National Team's new coach and replaces Luis Fernandez. Guttman has a reputation of being a methodical and meticulous tactician and was the only candidate the Israeli FA considered for the position. He received unanimous backing from the 11-member IFA board, initially on a two-year contract. Guttman's first task will be to prepare the national team for a home international friendly against Ukraine on February 29, and to form a team for the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign that begins in September. Israel has been drawn in European qualifying Group F with Portugal, Russia, Azerbaijan, Northern Ireland, and Luxembourg. Why? Because only through a system of play is it possible to narrow the gaps against Portugal or Russia." The Israeli has coached 15 different clubs in a 33-year career and began as an understudy to Shlomo Scharf, Israel's longest-serving coach between 1992 and 1999 during their initial period in European competition.
