Brookfield is a city located in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States. It had a population of 37,920 in the 2010 census. Brookfield is the second largest city in Waukesha County, and the leading commercial suburb of Milwaukee. The City of Brookfield was formed in 1954 from the Town of Brookfield, a portion of which still survives along the city's western edge. Brookfield shares the Elmbrook School District with the Town of Brookfield, with Village of Elm Grove and with a small section of City of New Berlin. A very small section of the city is served by the Waukesha School District.

This is from 1978. My Dad was filming me vaulting in an invitational. It was filmed with a movie camera back then. I believe this vaulter is from Brookfield Central. I vaulted for Greendale. I don't know the vaulters name. He was very good, and had a wild aggressive run. His take-off on this vault was way out (like Bubka) and his Cata-Pole sent him flying right. The Bar was at 12' 6". I believe he broke his collar bone and dislocated his shoulder besides being knocked unconscious. I always wanted to find him and let him know I had this film. Now with YouTube- maybe he'll see it and recognize himself. Maybe someone in Wisconsin who vaulted in the late 70's remembers him. Then again ... Maybe he wouldn't want to see it.
