Tata Xenon is a pickup truck manufactured by Tata Motors. It was debuted as redesigned Tata TL at the 2006 Bologna Motor Show. Released in late 2007 as the Tata Xenon. The Xenon is powered by newly developed 2.2L common rail turbodiesel 140 PS (0.1 kW) engine (DICOR). This also featured the extended cab (X-Tend cab) for the first time but to the selected markets. The new Xenon will be launched in many countries around the world, whereas in India its platform also gives rise to the Tata Sumo Grande, a passenger variant from Tata.The car is assembled in Thailand by Tata-Thonburi JV, and in Argentina by Tata-Fiat JV. Fiat's first body-on frame pickup will have the same styling as Tata Xenon and is to be named Fiat Terra . A variant, Xenon XT (Cross Terrain), a life style 4-door, 5-seater pick-up was launched in 2009. The vehicle combines stylish on-road presence and comfortable interiors with off-road capabilities of a 4x4. The Xenon has been well received in Europe especially in Spain and Italy

Exterior looks tough and aggressive yet fulfilled with luxurious feel and roomy inside. 2.2 DiCor contrary away from other 2.5 engines on the market; 140PS, 320nm. Good with notably hi-technology common-rail system, closed-system Variable Geometry Turbo, Variable Valve Timing system. Tata filled these technologies instead of maximize the capacity to be unnecessary. This top model certainly recieved chrome grille, LED at rear mirrors, luxurious feeling interior and steering wheel. At the rear also looks good because Tata logo putted on there instead of large 4 alphabets, and unnecessary lame bar behind cabin removed. Every Xenon built with high ground clearance (equally with local lifted 4x2 pickups) right from the plant. Exterior body & body structure were made from high quality steel (and that's related to TATA STEEL), thicker with difference to protect drivers and passengers. But it might not good that the source still not let me know more about safety equipment; sure, just body structure and safety belts might not enough for this truck era. No info about chassis and suspension as well. And for the first time in a long while, Xenon will be available in 4x2, and choice between 2 cabstyles (no single cab cue for now). I'd hope there might be more than 6 models to choose from the lineup. But all this Tata believes that Xenon will be nice one <b>...</b>

La versión probada tenía doble cabina, existe otra con cabina simple, lo cual además del componente laboral le añade el lúdico. El Xenón tiene una línea bonita, moderna y que transmite robustez. Su imagen esta al mismo nivel que el resto de sus competidores. El frontal comienza con un gran paragolpes que envuelve los faros antinieblas y las entradas de aire. Encima quedan los grandes grupos ópticos que comprenden los intermitentes. La parrilla cuenta con tres brazos transversales en negro, lo que le aporta un toque de deportividad. La unidad probada llevaba los siguientes opcionales: un techo duro en la zona de carga, estribos laterales, defensa delantera, defensa trasera y cubre cárter. El primer elemento, en concreto, queda muy bien integrado en el conjunto y personalmente creemos que lo mejora aún más estéticamente. Finalmente destacan unas bonitas llantas de cinco brazos realizadas en aleación de medidas 16" x 5,5" que montan unos neumáticos de 215/75 R16 en esta versión Premium. El equipamiento nos ha parecido bueno ya que monta de serie aire acondicionado, espejos retrovisores y elevalunas eléctricas, un equipo JCV con radio CD y lector de MP3 y cierre centralizado. Tenemos que tener en cuenta que hablamos de un vehículo que tiene un precio de 20.209 euros que prácticamente no tiene rivales y es uno de sus mayores argumentos de compra. El otro argumento de compra es su motor. Lleva un moderno tetracilíndrico de 2.2 litros, llamado Dicor, con culata de cuatro <b>...</b>
