Skidmore College is a private, independent, liberal arts college with an enrollment of approximately 2,500 students. The college is located in the town of Saratoga Springs, New York State.

Skidmore college currently offers bachelor of arts and bachelor of science degrees in more than 60 areas of study. In 2006, Skidmore College was listed as one of the "New Ivies". Skidmore is 41st in the 2011 U.S. News & World Report ranking of liberal arts colleges. In 2009, Forbes rated it 80th of America's Best Colleges.
