Wow - what an amazing evening. The students of Tawa College, Wellington, New Zealand, performed a remixed version of Julie Andrew's "Do-Re-Mi" at the Wellington Train Station. They were filmed with the purpose of creating a music-video supplimentary to their annual musical performances - starting on Friday 24th July @ Tawa College. They were also captured by TVNZ's "One News" for both the 6pm and 10:30pm news updates. --I thoroughly enjoyed filming for the evening, and have edited together the music-video for Tawa College's onstage performances, as well as for YouTube internet screening: FINAL VIDEO: www.youtube.com The Do-Re-Mi dance idea has been inspired by a mass-mob dance in a Belgium train station, as what seems to be dozens and dozens of people dancing in public, taking many daily commuters by total surprise! A 6.3-magnitude earthquake ripped through Christchurch, New Zealand, on Tuesday afternoon, causing multiple fatalities as it toppled buildings onto buses, buckled streets and damaged cathedrals, authorities said. New Zealand Police announced on the agency's website that a large-scale evacuation of the central city was under way. According to the news release, the earthquake killed an undetermined number of people at various locations around the city, including passengers on two buses crushed by buildings that had fallen on them. TVNZ reported that the 147-year-old Christchurch Cathedral's spire had toppled, Christchurch Hospital was being evacuated and the airport was closed แผ่นดินไหวนิวซีแลนด์ 21 Feb 2011 : New Zealand rattled by earthquake Source : TVNZ : CNN News - thank you news Youtube clip VDO video

See how his own network handles the story on its mid-evening news bulletin! The start of the 6pm One News bulletin on Friday 8 October - the day where already-suspended Breakfast television host Paul Henry causes a diplomatic row between India and New Zealand after he racially discriminated the Delhi Chief Minister Shelia Dikshit. Two days later, Paul Henry would resign from TVNZ. Filmed off an analogue television in Dunedin, hence the not-so-great quality. I do not own the copyright of the content of footage - the copyright belongs to Television New Zealand.
