'My Life as a Teenage Robot' is an American animated television series, created by Rob Renzetti on Nickelodeon. It is a Frederator Studios production and the executive producers are Rob Renzetti and Fred Seibert. Apparently inspired by Otto Soglow's classic comic strip The Little King, the sci-fi series shares the strip's trademark thin-line circular drawing style, exaggerated body forms, and abstract/art-deco backgrounds. Season 3 episodes of the series have been airing as never before seen episodes on Nicktoons Network starting on October 4, 2008. It is distributed outside the United States by the Canadian animation studio, Nelvana Limited. The series ended on May 2, 2009, making rumors to why Eartha Kitt died months prior to the final episode, how the show was canceled, plans for a movie based on it, etc.
The series originally came from the 2nd season of Frederator's cartoon shorts incubator, Oh Yeah! Cartoons (1999) as My Neighbor was a Teenage Robot.
