:Not to be confused with the British Lee-EnfieldThe M1917 Enfield, the "American Enfield" (frequently misidentified or mislabeled as the "P17", "P1917", or "Pattern 1917"), formally named "United States Rifle, cal .30, Model of 1917" was an American modification and production of the British .303 caliber P14 rifle developed and manufactured during the period 1917-1918.

M1917 Enfield Video

Short but sweet. This is me shotting in NC with my great uncle's WWI rifle. The bullet is a military issue, tungsten-tipped round.

My Winchester M1917 from 400 yards, with my added bullet cam feature. You can now see the rifles I fire plus where the shots are marked at the same time, I have used shot markers to highlight each shot. You will see five shots at an 18 inch middle (Small frame),shooting with a rest, still learning but hopefully practice will improve. The red dots signal where the bullets go. The target cam is next to me and zoomed in - it was raining and I didn't want to risk ruining it. Ammo and gun purchased from cgfirearms.co.uk and http The music is from the PC game Battlefield 1942 Armored Fury and yes I'm a lefty

Breakthrough with my videos, I've been trying this for months, and now I can finally make it work. My new videos for 2011 with HUD,bullet cam, and IRON SIGHTS in high definition. You can now see the rounds, rifle, target distance as well as climate, wind, and of course the iron sights, you will see my target and what I am aiming at. Just a note here, I have full control of the firearm just in case you were wondering, and no I have not duct taped a camera to the gun. My US M1917 from 100 yards you will see ten shots at an 8 inch middle ,shooting without a rest, still learning but hopefully practice will improve. The red crosses signal where the bullets go. Ammo and gun purchased from cgfirearms.co.uk and http And yes I am a lefty !

*New type of video * My Winchester M1917 at a ETR range without a rest. Many targets pop up and all you have to do is shoot them down. You will see three windows, which are my chosen targets. The target will start up in red, if hit by ME it will hi-light green. If somebody else hits it, it will stay red. (Took me a while to put this one together) Looks easy, but I can assure you it is a challenge. The ground is very uneven, and the ranges I specify in the video are guestimates !!! This was such a blast and cannot wait to do it again !! A little bit sluggish at the end, tired and hot gun ! Ammo and gun purchased from cgfirearms.co.uk and http The music is from the PC game Battlefield 1942 Armored Fury and yes I'm a lefty

A sportorized M1917, the so called US Enfield. Not a real Enfield, this one is not really an M1917 any longer. Converted to .300 Winchester Magnum, without sights, and with a Mannlicher stock.

New format. With my newly created HUD, or head up display system. You can now see the rounds, rifle, target distance as well as climate and wind. My US M1917 from 100 yards you will see ten shots at an 8 inch middle (eleven as I cant count),shooting without a rest, still learning but hopefully practice will improve. The red dots signal where the bullets go. Ammo and gun purchased from cgfirearms.co.uk and http

2 out of 5. I'll take it! Not bad for a 93 year old rifle with my dumbass shooting it. Camera is a Canon FS300 41x zoom. Works great so far.

Shooting on a MOD ETR with my M1917. These ranges are excellent. You lay there and then multiple targets pop up then you pwn them as much as you like... could do this all day and I did ! Russian Mosin Nagant M44 aiming at electronic popup targets, shooting without a rest, still learning but hopefully practice will improve. When I manage a hit the square will light up green, a miss will stay red. Ammo and gun purchased from cgfirearms.co.uk and http And yes I am a lefty !
