Kilburn tube station is a London Underground station at Kilburn in north-west London. It is on the Jubilee Line, situated between Willesden Green and West Hampstead tube stations. It is in Travelcard Zone 2. Metropolitan Line trains pass through the station, but do not stop. The station is situated on a viaduct crossing the main A5 trunk road at the north end of a stretch known as Kilburn High Road. It is approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) south of the Cricklewood area and 200 metres (656 ft) north of Brondesbury station. It opened as Kilburn and Brondesbury on 24 November 1879, as part of the Metropolitan and St. John's Wood Railway run by the Metropolitan Railway. Following the merger of the Metropolitan Railway into London Transport in 1933, it then became part of the Stanmore branch of the Bakerloo Line on 20 November 1939, at which time the station was extensively rebuilt. The station was renamed to its current name on September 25, 1950. It was transferred to the Jubilee Line on its opening, on 1 May 1979. West Hampstead tube station is a London Underground Jubilee line station in West Hampstead. It is on West End Lane between Broadhurst Gardens and Blackburn Road and is in Travelcard Zone 2. A short film about the Welsh Harp, also known as the Brent Reservoir. This is an entry in the Film Brent in 90 Seconds Competition promoting Brent to a visiting Olympic athlete in 2012. The Welsh Harp is my favourite green and blue space in the London Borough of Brent where I can commune with nature and reflect on art . Constructed in the 1830's as a reservoir supplying the Grand Union Canal, it is now an important nature reserve and Site of Special Scientific Interest, particularly noted for the diversity of its nesting waterfowl. It's about 10 miles from central London and just a few minutes away from Wembley Stadium, home to English football. This video is to make a complain about a parking fine ticket against a vehicle of street workers in London, Kilburn High Road. If you see on the video, there are two vehicles, one at the left, of the street's maintenance, and at right its a butchers van. Just the left vehicle received the fine, although it was the only one that should have been permitted to stop in the rood, because it had to work there, with a caterpillar. I recorded the situation, with the intention to make a formal complain at the APCOA office, the office for parking of Brent council here in London. I wait coments from everybody, and I suggest you to give a look also at my blog (the link is here below) www.santinopani.com

This is my artistic response to the tragic and horrendous consequences of knife and gun crime using footage from the Not Another Drop Peace March held in the London Borough of Brent on the 26th September 2009. I have lived in the London borough of Brent for most of my life and have noted with sadness how gun and knife related crime has increased over the past few decades. Growing up as a teen in the borough, I have my own personal story to tell of the hollow machismo involved in handling a knife when a friend had loaned me his flick knife for a few days. Thankfully, I never got a chance to use it. Not Another Drop is a community led campaign that was launched in 2001 to prevent gun and knife related crime in Brent: www.notanotherdrop.com Constantine Gras is a visual artist who uses the medium of photography, film-making and painting to explore cultural, environmental and philosophical issues: web.mac.com web.me.com
