ArcelorMittal S.A. is a global steel company headquartered in Avenue de la Liberté, Luxembourg, Luxembourg. It is the largest steel producing company in the world and is the market leader in steel for use in automotive, construction, household appliances and packaging. It holds sizeable captive supplies of raw materials and operates extensive distribution networks. The company was formed in 2006 by the merger of Arcelor and Mittal Steel. It ranks 99th on the 2010 Fortune Global 500 list.

Il y'a de celà quelques semaines, ArcelorMittal annonça que cette même usine serait fermée et que 600 travailleurs perdraient ainsi leur emploi. Il est néanmoins estimé que plus de 4000 travailleurs seraient impactés indirectement par cette décision. Cette décision fut prise outrepassant la promesse officielle d'il ya 3 ans que cela ne se produrait pas. En 2010, ArcelorMittal accusa un bénéfice net de 2,9 milliards de dollars avec un chiffre d'affaire de 78 milliards de dollars. Ceci démontre une fois encore l'exemple parfait d'une multinationale prête à mentir sur l'autel du profit , pour elle même et pour ses actionnaires <b>...</b>
