Nashua is a city in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA. As of the 2010 census, Nashua had a total population of 86,494, making it the second largest city in the state (and in the three northern New England states) after Manchester.

Built around the now-departed textile industry, in recent decades it has been swept up in southern New Hampshire's economic expansion as part of the Boston region. Nashua was twice named "Best Place to Live in America" in annual surveys by Money magazine. It is the only city to get the No. 1 ranking two times—in 1987 and 1997. In 2007, the Morgan Quitno Press ranked Nashua as the 27th safest city in the country.

Nashua, New Hampshire Video

Feb 23, 1980. In the New Hampshire primary, a single symbolic act dramatized the debut of Reagan's new image as a candidate and the demise of Bush's presidential hopes. It occurred during what was scheduled to be a two-person debate between Bush and Reagan in Nashua, New Hampshire, on Feburary 23, the Saturday before balloting. As it turned out, Bush crumpled under pressure orchestrated by Reagan's camp. Initially, both Reagan and Bush had seen advantages in a two-person debate sponsored by a local newspaper. When the FEC ruled that newspaper sponsorship of the debate amounted to an illegal campaign contribution and when Bush refused to pay half of the debate's cost, Reagan agreed to underwrite it himself. Reagan then moved to include the other five contenders - a move that identified him both as a candidate and a unifier. When the other candidates showed up on stage, Bush froze. As Reagan made his case for inclusion of the other candidates, the moderator ordered Reagan's mike turned off. Reagan responded, "I'm paying for this microphone, Mr. Green." The fact that the moderator's name was Breen seemed to matter little. The crowd cheered. When neither newspaper hosting the debate nor Bush would accede to the inclusion of the others, the other candidates left the stage. Reagan's prospects had been boosted, Bush's buried. Reagan carried New Hampshire 50% to Bush's 23%. (Excerpted from "Packaging The Presidency: A History and Criticism of Presidential Campaign" by Kathleen ...

Both also ridden by "elevatorsonly". I decided to park my car in the cool (temprature-wise) parking garage under the Best Buy, Nashua, New Hampshire. We ride the Keystone elevators, which I only saw one at first, but decided to ride them both. These are HUGE elevators, and ride fairly well. Can see through the doors on the second one (we follow the progress), but not on the first one. On the last trip up to do some shopping, some customers and a couple employees came in, and found it amusing that I was recording the rides. They were very understanding, and went along with it without reservations. GREAT EMPLOYEES!! Wish there were more open-minded people, which unlike Massachusetts, they mostly are up here.

www.RudyMayer.com - Manchester is the state's commercial and industrial leader, as well as its largest city and the home of nearly 10 percent of its population. The city first gained national fame in the 1800s as the home of the massive textile mill of the Amoskeag Manufacturing Company. Nearly 5 million yards of cloth were shipped weekly from the mill, which employed thousands of workers and covered more than 8 million square feet. The mill thrived until the 1920s, when competition from southern mills and obsolete technology took their toll. In 1935, Amoskeag went bankrupt. Despite losing its major employer, Manchester rebuilt itself as a commercial and industrial center by diversifying industries. Today it is home to a melting pot of high tech companies, banks, business services Directory City Offices Voting Locations Fire Department Police Department Post Office Public Schools Resources Public Library Utilities Employment Attractions enterprises, retailers, manufacturers and health care professionals. Commerce is just one part of Manchester's appeal. The city is also the focal point of the state's cultural community and home to many of the region's eight colleges and universities. Cultural institutions such as the Currier Gallery of Art and Palace Theatre join with the new Verizon Wireless Arena and outdoor concert venues to attract world-class performers and exhibits to the city. Performances, exhibits, classes, workshops and lectures are offered to the general public ...

Here's a video tour of Funworld in Nashua New Hampshire. It's about an hour south of Funspot. The arcade is set up on three floors, snack bar and redemption on floor one, arcade games and rides on the second floor and DDR and some fighting games on floor three. They also have a very rare Galexian3 Attack of the ZOLGEAR machine, the largest ever made. (Sorry about the abrupt end of the video. The camera is on it's last legs and it cut out after I mentioned the Guitar Freaks/Drum Mania machines)
