The concert was recorded only 7 days after the concert on It's Alive and as such is similar. The tracklisting is the same with the exception of "Judy Is a Punk" not being on NYC 1978. Tommy Ramone is the drummer on this recording. He left the band soon afterwards, although he continued to work with them as a producer and manager. This is his last album as the Ramones' drummer. In 2004 the album was re-released on Sanctuary Records with the title "Live, January 7, 1978 At The Palladium, NYC", and with new cover art. |
