Mifflin County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of 2010, the population was 46,682. Its county seat is Lewistown . It is named after Thomas Mifflin, the first Governor of Pennsylvania.

I felt that it was on my heart to write a speech about the dangers of drinking and driving and the experience that I had with it. On January 26th 2009 I went up to state college with my best friend for a few drinks, knowing that I had to drive home I figured that I would have a little bit and then stop. While enroute home I hit some ice and went out of control and crashed. I looked over at my friend and I saw that he was injured and later found out that he almost died. I heard of the dangers of drinking and driving before, but after this I have realized how true the danger is. After seeing my friend in the Intensive Care Unit and at Rehab I made the decision to give up drinking completely and to this day I have been sober with no desire to drink. It also made me realize how fragile life is and also made me have that more of a relationship with God, there have been points in my life when I questioned how real God was, but after seeing the miracle that he worked in saving my friend and giving hima second chance at life, it caused me to have a renewed <b>...</b>
