Maximilian Haas (born 7 December 1985) is a German footballer who is currently a Free Agent.

Haas played for four years in the Landesliga for SE Freising, before joining Bayern Munich II in July 2007. He did not make his debut until October of the following year, when he replaced Mehmet Ekici in a 3 3 draw with SV Sandhausen, but soon became a regular in the team, initially in midfield, but subsequently in defence. In 2010 he was named by Louis van Gaal as part of Bayern Munich's senior squad, but continued to mainly play for the reserves. He played in pre-season friendlies for the first-team, most notably the Franz Beckenbauer farewell match against Real Madrid, but was not involved in any competitive matches, and moved to England on 31 January 2011, signing for Football League Championship side Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee.

He made his debut after several games on the bench, against top of the league QPR coming on as a 82nd minute substitute. Middlesbrough lost the match 3 0. He made his first full start in a 4 2 victory against Hull City on 23 April 2011. Following the end of the Championship season he was subsequently released by Middlesbrough FC.
