Lopez's first remix album J to tha L � O!: The Remixes was released on February 5, 2002. The album consisted of previously released singles which featured artists like Ja Rule on "Ain't It Funny (Murder Remix)" and Nas on "I'm Gonna Be Alright". The following year on November 19, 2002, Lopez released her third studio album This Is Me... Then. The album peaked at number two on the Billboard 200 albums chart and earned two Platinum awards in the U.S. for selling over 2 million units. The album saw a release of four singles, "Jenny from the Block", "All I Have", "I'm Glad" and "Baby I Love U!". Her fourth studio album Rebirth appeared in stores on March 1, 2005, and experienced a moderate success in the U.S., eventually earning a Platinum award for selling over a million units. Two singles were released from the album; "Get Right" and "Hold You Down". Lopez released her first Spanish album Como Ama una Mujer on March 27, 2007. In the same vein, her first Spanish single was released entitled "Qué Hiciste". The album peaked at number ten on the U.S. Billboard 200 and number one on the U.S. Top Latin Albums chart. Como Ama una Mujer was also successful in other territories; it entered the top 5 of albums charts in Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Spain. The album earned Platinum certifications in a number of countries including Switzerland and Spain. Just over six months later, on October 9, 2007, Lopez's sixth studio album Brave was released. The album charted moderately almost everywhere it was released. Two singles were released from Brave; "Do It Well" and "Hold It, Don't Drop It", the second of which was available in Europe only. Lopez was expected to release her seventh studio album, Love?, through Epic Records in April 2010. However after separating from her label, Lopez has stated the album will be released in Summer 2010. To date, Lopez has sold over 55 million records worldwide. |
