Honeywell International, Inc. (Nyse - HON) is a major conglomerate company that produces a variety of consumer products, engineering services, and aerospace systems for a wide variety of customers, from private consumers to major corporations and governments.

Honeywell is a Fortune 100 company with a workforce of approximately 130,000, of which approximately 58,000 are employed in the United States. The company is headquartered in Morristown, New Jersey. Its current chief executive officer is David M. Cote. The company and its corporate predecessors were part of the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index from December 7, 1925 until February 9, 2008.

The current "Honeywell International Inc." is the product of a merger in which Honeywell Inc. was acquired by the much larger AlliedSignal in 1999. The company headquarters were consolidated to AlliedSignal's headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey; however the combined company chose the name "Honeywell" because of its superior brand recognition.

Honeywell has many brands that consumers may recognize. Some of the most recognizable products are its line of home thermostats (particularly the iconic round type), Garrett turbochargers, and automotive products sold under the names of Prestone, Fram, and Autolite.

This demolition of the Boeing 720B experimental aircraft was completed on June 21, 2008. The actual demolition process lasted about 4 1/2 hours with the subsequent removal of the chomped up metal/engines and the clean-up being completed the next day. Honeywell purchased the aircraft in 1987 and used it to test a variety of engines. Plans were developed to retire it near the end of 2007 and transition future engine flight testing to the newer B757. The last flight of the B720 was on Dec 29, 2007. Honeywell considered donating it to a museum, parting out the aircraft for potential sale or destruction. For a variety of reasons they chose to destroy the aircraft. They contracted the Aircraft Recycling Corp. (ARC), a company that specializes in the demolition, dismantling, salvage and/or scrapping of aircraft to perform the demolition. As a precaution, the Honeywell Fire Department and HazMat team were in the vicinity throughout the demolition process.

So, Straight No Chaser came out for their encore performance at the Honeywell Center in Wabash, Indiana and talked about how they had seen a kid in the front row with a Flip video camera recording a few of the songs that night, and how he probably didn't have a very good angle being in the front row. They then called him up on stage to record their last song, The Twelve Days of Christmas. Well that kid was me. Enjoy the footage! Thank you guys so much!
