7:28 AM - 12/27/2009 - (Carbon County - Franklin Township, PA) Route 209 in Franklin Township had to be closed for a two car crash with injuries. The cause of the accident was a result of black ice on the roadway. A south bound Chevrolet Monte Carlo lost control on ice coated roadway. The car slid sideways and struck a north bound Saturn SUV. After impact with the SUV the Monte Carlo struck the guide rail and went back across the north and south bound lanes and came to a stop. The driver of the Monte Carlo sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The accident occurred just north of the LaRose's Roller Skating Rink. The Franklin Township Fire Police closed the roadway until the accident scene was cleared and waited for Penn DOT to apply anti-skid material. Responding to the scene was the Franklin Township Fire Department, Lehighton State Police and the Lehighton Ambulance. An off duty Tamaqua police officer came upon the scene just after it occurred and assisted at the scene. Scene cleared at 9:00 AM.

AfterDark Paranormal Investigators go with Rekon7 (another Murrysville resident who's also been seeing the UFOs) and, using my equipment, get to see what all the fuss is about. Filming in Penn Township high spot with good 360 view of the area, seeing them over Murrysville's high, thickly wooded, mostly inaccessible ridge lines running south of Route 22. Location is in Westmoreland county, part of Penn township (postal is Jeannette) Pennsylvania. FILMED WHILE THE ALIEN MOVIE "I AM NUMBER FOUR" was being shot at Murrysville's Franklin Regional High School. They missed out -- could've had real UFOs in it. This same activity is being reported and filmed WORLDWIDE, even over Moscow, Rome, Madrid, Canada, Australia, etc., and most states in the USA. List is on my channel page of known locations.

12:05 PM - 01/03/2010 - (Carbon County - Franklin Township, PA) Sunday morning's snow shower was not so nice to one driver heading to work. This young lady had her first accident since driving and it is one she will always remember when she travel's Long Run Road again in the Kris Pines area. She lost control on the slick snow covered roadway and struck a dirt embankment and a tree. The car did a 360 degree spin after impact and continued across the road into the oncoming lane. She stopped short of hitting another tree at this point. The location of this accident was near the area where a fatal accident occurred in the past. Franklin Township Police responded to the accident with no injuries. The car was towed from the scene. Scene cleared at 12:30 PM.

Marie Gemeinhardt of 1200 Hahns Dairy Road escaped the blaze with her four dogs. She had no fire insurance to cover the loss. The fire may have been started by a electric ceramic heater in the bedroom. She said she saw her bed on fire and got out of the house with her pets. Fire departments from around the area battled the flames. Water had to be brought in by tanker because of the rural area. Fire departments on scene: Lower Towamensing Township, Palmerton, Aquashicola, Bowmanstown, Parryville, Franklin Township and Walnutport from Northampton county. The Palmerton Ambulance assisted at fire. Scene cleared 11:01 PM. Update 01/01/2009: An American Red Cross representative said Gemeinhardt was given food and clothing on Friday and is temporarily staying in an apartment in Palmerton.
