Jan 12, 2011. Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Court system failed murder victim. Family and friends of Trisha Edelman, the 21YO woman found shot to death in a New Cumberland apartment, gathered in Mechanicsburg for a candlelight vigil. Edelman's ex-boyfriend was charged earlier in the day with homicide. Police said he shot the Mechanicsburg woman in the stomach, killing her and her unborn child. Edelman had filed a protection from abuse order against Trump after he assaulted her last summer, according to court documents. Her sister said the system failed her. "We told the cops that he was abusive and he tried to kill her before with a gun and they let him out of jail and now she's dead," said Tara Edelman. "He was supposed to stay away from her. Why would you let somebody like that out on the streets again?" "She was a wonderful sister," brother Justin Edelman said. "She'll definitely be missed. We all love her. We know she's in a better place. It's just hard, you know? It's just hard." Trisha Edelman is survived by a 2YO daughter. Her family said she had been planning to buy a home with her new boyfriend. www.abc27.com Jan 12, 2011. Mechanicsburg PA. Police arrest man in bed with slain ex-girlfriend. In Nazi Germany, the citizenry was outrageously hassled for their papers. Well, America crossed that threshold long ago, as "authorities" deemed personal travel by motor vehicle a privilege. As we so often have, Americans rolled over to that dictat. But today's law enforcement officials now claim the right to your bodily fluids- so much for being secure in your personal effects. Why must we be slowly acclimated to the total destruction of privacy. This police state must be rolled back before the most ruthless hi-tech tyranny is set loose.
