Er Teck Hwa ( ) is a Malaysian politician and is currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Bakri constituency in the State of Johor. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) party in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition.

Er was first elected to Parliament in the 2008 election winning the seat of Bakri from the governing Barisan Nasional coalition. Upon his election, Er, a Mandarin speaker, stated that he was planning to hire private tutors to improve his Malay and English language skills in order to communicate more effectively with his constituents.
