The Bristol Mercury is a nine-cylinder air-cooled single-row piston radial engine. The Mercury was used mainly on British military aircraft in the 1930s and 1940s. A number were also built in Europe under licence. At least two Bristol Mercuries remain airworthy in 2010. |
