Brands Hatch is a motor racing circuit near Swanley in Kent, England. First used as a dirt track motorcycle circuit on farmland, it hosted 12 runnings of the British Grand Prix between 1964 and 1986 and currently holds many British and international racing events. The name of the circuit may derive from the Gaelic Brondehach (bron meaning "wooded slope" and hach meaning "forest entrance").

ONLY ONE CAUGHT ON CAMERA. massive crash and roll, one of the worst crashes I have ever seen, during the second mr2 race at the 750mc meeting, 17th April 2011. Cars 1 and 55 slam into the barrier and both are launched into a series of rolls, with Andrei Bgartov (55) landing upside down in the spectator area at the top of paddock hill bend. The speed at which the two left the track was unbelieveble, an extremely nasty accident. www.derekphotography.co.uk
