Normally the nice curve offers a great shot for oncoming eastbound trains but the corn grew so high that it was not possible for shooting a train coming from the west. So here is #8 passing outside of Bangor, WI with a nice going away shot of the Skytop Lounge!

This train will take the the old DME routing out of Winona Minnesota. At about 730pm the same day, I heard this train finally get a track warrant out of Winona. This day, traffic on the CP was extreamly heavy. I caught 10 different trains on video and missed 6 others due to being too early. At about 200pm, the line just dried up so I headed over to the BNSF north of La Crosse.
