Warwick ( ) is a town in Queensland, Australia, lying 130 km (80.8 mi) south-west of Brisbane. It is the administrative centre of the Southern Downs Local Government Area. In 2006 the town of Warwick had a population of 12,562.

The surrounding Darling Downs have fostered a strong agricultural industry for which Warwick, together with the larger city of Toowoomba, serve as convenient service centres. Warwick is situated on the Condamine River. The Cunningham Highway and the New England Highway pass through the town.

The turf was damaged when the Condamine River flooded at Warwick on December 27, 2010. The turf was recovrable following that flood, now it is beyond repair. At the time of this post, Warwick was the most affected of all of the hockey surfaces in Queensland, but the flooding of the Brisbane River may affect the State Hockey Centre. A video of the damage from the first flood will be posted soon.

There were 3 Twin Pins working in Southeast Queensland for a few years in the 1990's. Here's some footage of one of them doing handling demonstrations at an airshow at Warwick on the southern Darling Downs during that time. The opening shots were at the Bicentennial Airshow at Richmond RAAF Base in 1988. Enjoy the sound of those Alvis Leonades engines.
