Stanford University Medical Center represents the Stanford Hospital and the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and is located at 300 Pasteur Drive in Stanford, California. Stanford Hospital provides both general acute care services and tertiary medical care for patients locally, nationally and internationally. The hospital’s mission is to provide excellent care for its patients who live close by, as well as for those who come from afar for treatment of complex disorders. Organ transplantation, cancer diagnosis and treatment, cardiovascular medicine and surgery, and neurosciences are clinical specialties of worldwide renown.

Consistently ranking as one of best hospitals in the United States by US News and World Report and serving as the primary teaching hospital for the Stanford University School of Medicine, the hospital plays a key role in the training of physicians and other medical professionals. It provides a clinical environment for the medical school’s researchers as they study ways to translate new knowledge into effective patient care. Full-time faculty and community physicians make up the hospital medical staff.

My son has autism and a seizure disorder. My son was always high functioning. He was never violent or a danger to others. My son use to go to DAN (defeat autism now )Protocol Doctors. They really helped my son. In 2009, I filed for a divorce from an abusive husband. My son reacted to the stress and our changed life style. He cannot speak and he gets frustrated. On Thursday (March 31, 2010). My son came home from school and he was crying. He had a fever and a headache. He started to bite his finger and bang his forehead. Stanford Hospital told me previously that I should give Sam Benadryl if he gets agitated. I took Sam to Stanford on Thursday night. The doctors found out he was having side effects from Benadryl. Sam was screaming and crying. Stanford gave him Adevine and Respiradol to calm Sam down. Sam slept for 12 hours in the hospital. He woke up and he could not recognize his family. He then started to scream and cry. 10 people (nurses and the security guards) put restraints on Sam to hold him down. I felt like I was watching a horror movie. After that, they gave him Zyprex (another psych medication) with Benadryl and Tylenol. This caused him to have extreme side effects. When these medications made my son out of control, the doctors gave him another medication called Abilify. AND THEN, my son started to have side effects! He was drooling, he could not walk properly, and he was vomiting. After six days, Sam was out of the hospital. We went to see Dr. Antonio Harden <b>...</b>
