Southern soul is a type of soul music that emerged from the Southern United States. The music originated from a combination of styles, including blues (both 12 bar and jump), country and western, early rock and roll, and a strong gospel influence that emanated from the sounds of Southern African-American churches. The focus of the music was not on its lyrics, but on the "feel" or the groove. This rhythmic force made it a strong influence in the rise of funk music.

The second part to catching Latias: going out to Southern Island to catch her brother! It's not quite enough to just go look for Latias and catch her, isn't it? Much more interesting if we top it off with a visit to Southern Island, right? By the way, I KNOW I mispelled his nickname, but I ALWAYS get confused on words with a double consonant. Every time I talk about Pokémon Colosseum, I sometimes still mispell it "Colloseum", just because I can't remember which consonant there's two of. -_-; So no need to correct me. ^_~ Geez, Latios was WAY easier to catch than Latias. Oh, and, that's right-- SOUL DEW. Yes! ^_^
