Pioneer is a census-designated place in Amador County, California. It is located 5 mi (8 km) east-northeast of Pine Grove, at an elevation of 2986 feet (910 m), along State Route 88. The community is in ZIP code 95666 and area code 209. The population was 1,094 at the 2010 census.

Pioneer Station, built approximately 1925, is located in Pioneer however, it was never a Pony Express stop, a popular fallacy. It was a general store selling gas and water and offering camping sites. The old Pioneer Station still stands and is currently a private residence.

A post office opened in Pioneer in 1957.

The entire south side of his home is covered in solar capture devices: 1600 watts of photovoltaic power, solar hot water panels, a sunroom/greenhouse and a solar hot air collector. "The sunroom/greenhouse provides most of the free heat". Putting his technical skills to use (he's a pioneer in C++ programming), Amelang wrote over 10000 lines of code so that his home's water and electric systems could be operated more efficiently and automatically. An added benefit is the ability to control everything remotely, by even just a smartphone. Since he built most of the home himself (the person he hired to do it decades ago, spent all the money and built half the house), Amelang has made it very custom. He avoided using aluminum and plastic (except for the insulation on the wiring) and he wired it for pure DC lighting (which makes sense with solar, but Amelang also likes how "peaceful" DC lighting feels). Tee had been around the Los Angeles hip hop scene for many years alongside Ice T and Kid Frost and acted as a pioneer for the genre. In 1988 he made his debut with Act a Fool, considered a classic amongst west coast fans. During his time with Capitol, Tee began mentoring a young trio of rappers called Tha Alkaholiks, or "Tha Liks," as well as their loosely affiliated collective called the Likwit Crew. The Likwits included Xzibit, who would later rise to fame and bring king Tee close to Compton producer Dr. Dre. Tha Liks put out their debut album under King Tee's guidance on Loud Records in 1993. I've been putting car stereos in since I was 15. The first was my 1977 Camero which had 2 Jensen coaxials with 2 super tweeters, a Sanyo cassette deck & a Tancredi TE-100 7 Band EQ/Booster. When I got my 1978 Bronco that was it I changed things in that left & right. I went from Radio Shack 8" woofers with their midrange & super tweeters to their 15" woofers & then I found the Orion XTR 15" with the Bandpass Boxes & started to fill the truck with audio gear & then put more in the 1989 S10 Blazer! The Mormon Battalion was the only religious "unit" in American military history serving from July 1846 to July 1847 during the Mexican-American War. They provided funds from their salaries and allowances to assist the Mormon exodus west, such as part of their clothing allowances they provided to Brigham Young to help finance the Latter-day Saint's move to the Salt Lake Valley. The battalion was a volunteer unit of 500 soldiers, nearly all Mormon men with regular army officers in command and key staff positions along with Mormon company officers. The battalion made a grueling march from Council Bluffs, Iowa to San Diego, California. The Mormon Battalion were mostly members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who were fleeing religious persecution in Nauvoo, Illinois. The battalion's march and service was instrumental in helping secure new lands in several Western states, especially the Gadsden Purchase of 1853 of much of southern Arizona. This is sort of a temporary setup for now, I am still getting everything tweaked up, so it is not to its fullest hitting potential. (Not a good choice of songs, lol.) A new ported box is coming soon. The subs are parralled to the amp, each sub getting 250w RMS, (amp is giving 500w total RMS) at 2 ohms. First song is Feel the Bass III by DJ Magic Mike. Second is Shake it Like a Dog by Kane and Abel.
