Mark Robert "Hoges" Bradtke (born 27 September 1968 in Adelaide, South Australia) is a retired Australian professional basketball player in Australia's NBL. He started his career with the Adelaide 36ers before moving to the Melbourne Tigers and then to the Brisbane Bullets. He was a prominent player for the Australian Boomers playing in the 1988, 1992, 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics, and the 1990 and 1994 FIBA World Championship. He played briefly in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers during the 1996-97 season, averaging 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Bradtke finished his career at the close of the 2007 NBL season as a member of the NBL champion Brisbane Bullets. He retired as the NBL's all-time leading rebounder with 6283 and is fourth on all-time games played with 554. He is married to the Australian former professional tennis player Nicole Provis. |
