Laurel, Maryland Video

www.homerestorationsmd.com Welcome to another video from Home Restorations of Md where we performed roof repairs on this home in Laurel, Maryland. 1) Three pipe collars were replaced 2) Several shingles were installed and sealed with Geocel Tripolymer Sealant. 3) Two bathroom fans were resealed. 4) Ridge vents were resealed (upper and lower) and three end plugs were installed where there were none. 5) Gutters were respiked, retightened 6) One section of gutter guard was renailed and sealed. 7) Vent stack was resealed at the "umbrella flange" section. Tip: Have a roofing professional inspect your roof every year to prolong the life of your roof and eliminate interior damage. Pay special attention to the pipe collars, which we find to be the biggest culprit when it comes to roof leaks.

Recorded live at the Laurel American Legion Hall in Laurel, Maryland on September 25, 1983. The picture is the only one I have with a member of this line up other than myself. It's Gary Norris the guitar player in the middle. The song is from Judas Priest's 1982 album "SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE". This is probably where we got the name for the band. The song was written by Bob Halligan Jr. Sean Devaney - Vocals Gary Norris - Guitar, Vocals Mike Ricketts - Guitar Rick Thomas - Bass, Vocals Rick Yon - Drums, Vocals

www.homerestorationsmd.com Sometimes it just takes a good, qualified "eye" to find roof leaks that aren't that visible. That's exactly the case for this home in Laurel, Maryland -- where the roof leak was hidden from view in an unlikely location. You wouldn't normally expect a ceiling leak to originate from a vertical brick wall, but that's what happened here. When metal flashing meets a brick wall, and it wasn't attached well by the builder, no amount of roofing cement will permanently stop water from entering. Check out the video to see the cure . . . Then, check out the "follow up" video that includes the repairs: www.youtube.com
